Thule OutPace Bike Carrier

Thule OutPace is a lightweight and compact bike platform with the capability to transport up to two or three bikes (depending on which version you choose).

Please note: a tow bar (sold separately) is required in order to use this Bike Carrier. Bike not included!

Designed for the occasional cyclist, the Thule OutPace offers a lightweight and compact platform that's easy to handle. Its foldable nature ensures it fits snugly in your garage or boot, making it the ideal choice for city dwellers with limited storage space.

The Thule OutPace 2-bike Carrier has been tried and tested on our own 2019 Suzuki Jimny SZ5 with the following configuration:

• OEM Suzuki Tow Bar (72901-78R01-000) with 13-pin Tow Bar Wiring Harness Kit (9921U-78R00-000)
  
• HIGH PEAK J-02 (15x6.0J-5) with BF Goodrich KO2 215/75R15 spare wheel and tyre combination

With this combination of parts, we have tested the following on our 2019 Suzuki Jimny SZ5:

• The tailgate can be opened fully with all bikes removed and the bike carrier in the tilted downwards position (bike arm nearest to tailgate will need folding outwards beforehand - see product image)
• The tailgate can be opened partially with bikes mounted and the bike carrier in the tilted downwards position
• The bike carrier can be fully tilted upwards when not in use (tailgate can't be opened without tilting down the bike carrier first)
• Compatible with JIMNYSTYLE LED Tail Lights

Featuring independent, articulated bike arms with an adjustable pivoting head and strap, Thule OutPace accommodates a wide range of bike frames and designs, from 20mm to 90mm. This seamless integration means loading your bike is hassle-free, regardless of its style or size.

With the capability to transport up to three bikes and a special tilt-up function, Thule OutPace reduces its footprint when parked, minimising the risk of damage. The integrated lamps ensure visibility and safety.

Supports a wide range of bike frame geometries from 20mm to 90mm diameter thanks to the versatile wheel strap.

Moveable head that rotates, slides, and adjusts flexibly to fit different bike sizes and styles, ensuring it always finds the perfect position on the frame.

Tilts up towards the car when parked, making it ideal for urban use. Note: The bike carrier must not be driven in the upright position; this feature is for parking only.

Carrier tilts down to allow access to the boot at all times.

You can load and unload up to three bikes in any order – all types of frames and geometries are supported.

Carrying handle and lightweight design for easy handling and installation, making it perfect for casual use.

The parking slot for the wheel strap keeps the wheel straps neatly tucked away while loading bikes. The ratcheting pump buckles and wheel straps make it easy to fasten tyres up to 3".

Easy to mount on tow bar from a vertical position.

Folds into a compact unit for easy storage in tight spaces.
